Hot Deep Stretch
Hot Deep Stretch is a class designed to release tension and calm the nervous system. We focus on flexibility and strengthening connective tissue. With the gentle support of props, students will passively stretch and energize the body’s deep connective tissue. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of deep relaxation in a heated room of 85-90 degrees.
Heat allows our bodies to open more and help to detox and release toxins in the tissues. We’ll target small and large muscle groups as well as the deep tissue for a well-rounded practice.
Flexibility/Experience not needed: This class is great for cross training as well as people who need help with flexibility.
Hot Yoga is performed in a heated room with humidity (85-90 degrees) because of the benefits it offers the body. This fitness based approach mixed with heat allows for muscles to ease through their full range of motion but is not an excuse to push muscles beyond their limits. Heat improves circulation and metabolism and strengthens the cardiovascular system. Sweating aids in detoxifying the body and rejuvenates the skin.
Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. Students will will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind.
